Dakota Fanning became the heroine of the new issue of Net-a-Porter magazine and said in an interview with the publication that she would trade her Hollywood career for motherhood.
Dakota became famous as a child when she starred in the film “War of the Worlds” with Tom Cruise, and later her role in the cult “Twilight” franchise added to her popularity. But, although she cannot imagine her life without an acting career, Dakota would prefer to be a mother.
“For me, children are probably more important than anything else, even than an acting career. If someone gave me a choice - a career or children, I would choose children without hesitation. I am one of those who always wanted this ".
"Being an actress is a huge part of my identity. I really don't know who I would be without it. But I also have a desire to build my life and career so that I always have a choice," Dakota added.
According to the 30-year-old actress, she does not know whether she will continue her career after becoming a mother. "I don't know how I'll feel when this time in my life comes, or how much I'll want to work. But since that moment hasn't come yet, I'm trying to fully enjoy this adventure."
