Diane Kruger, Marion Cotillard and Juliette Binoche at the Cesar Awards
The 49th annual Cesar Awards ceremony took place at the Olympia concert hall in Paris. The event, which honored the best filmmakers of the past year, was attended by many French and world stars.
Thus, among the guests of the event were Diane Kruger, Marion Cotillard and Juliette Binoche.
The winner of the award, as expected, was the film “Anatomy of a Fall.” Justine Trieu's courtroom drama was named the best film of 2023 by the French Film Academy. In total, the film won six awards. Trieu became the second woman in the history of the César to receive the award for directing. Before her, only Toni Marshall received this award in 2000 for “Beauty Salon “Venus”.
