Prince Harry met with his father in the UK, but is not going to reconcile with his brother
Prince Harry held a 45-minute meeting with his father Charles III, who was previously diagnosed with cancer. He was spotted in a Range Rover driving into the grounds of the Clarence House residence, where the king is now staying. After his father called him and told him about the diagnosis, Harry flew to the UK without his wife Meghan Markle.
After the meeting, according to British tabloids, he went to a hotel: he had previously been “evicted” from the Frogmore residence, where he always stayed during his visits to the UK.
Experts hope Harry's trip will be a "sign of truce" with his family, which could be "good news amidst bad news." However, so far there is no talk of a meeting with his brother Prince William, who is still offended by Harry’s public revelations about life in the royal family, although, according to media reports, Harry “would happily accept” a reconciliation. It is clarified that their mutual friend Mark Dyer, who supported them both after the death of their mother Princess Diana, could help improve relations between the brothers.
Prince Harry is not going to stay in the UK for a long time and plans to soon return to Montecito, where he lives with Meghan Markle and their children Archie and Lilibet.
Prince William, in turn, will temporarily return to public duties due to his father’s illness. Previously, he took a break due to the illness of his wife Kate Middleton: she underwent surgery and is recovering. The details of Kate's illness are not disclosed.
