Celine Dion made her first public appearance in three months amid health problems: she appeared at the 66th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. The 55-year-old singer took the stage at Crypto.com Arena to announce the winner in the Album of the Year category, which she first received 27 years ago. This year the award was taken by Taylor Swift.
Celine Dion's appearance on stage was greeted with thunderous applause.
"Thank you everyone, I love you. When I say I'm happy to be here, I really mean it from the bottom of my heart," she said from the stage.
Late last year, Celine Dion was diagnosed with stiff muscle syndrome. According to the singer's sister, Celine Dion previously lost control of her muscles. At the same time, Dion refused to use a wheelchair, and also really wanted to return to the stage and tried to do everything to make this possible.
Celine Dion is a five-time Grammy Award winner (she received her first gramophone in 1992) and a 16-time nominee.
