Kate Middleton and Prince William attend Royal Ascot Horse Race
Kate Middleton and Prince William attended the fourth day of the Royal Ascot races, which are now taking place in Ascot, near Windsor Castle.
The Duchess of Cambridge chose a polka dot dress by Alessandra Rich worth 1,9 thousand pounds (about 2,4 thousand dollars) to go out. Kate's look was complemented by a flower-decorated hat, an important element of the dress code at Royal Ascot, and pearl earrings. Prince William appeared in a dark tuxedo, blue tie and top hat.
Queen Elizabeth II, despite her love of equestrian sports, was unable to attend the event for health reasons: Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles represent her at Royal Ascot. Earlier, the queen felt unwell during the celebration of the platinum jubilee on the throne.
In previous days, the royal Ascot races were attended by Princess Anne, her son Peter Phillips, Princess Beatrice with her husband Edoardo Mapelli-Mozzi, Lady Sophie of Wessex and others.
